Foto Finish: Gardening:

As a reminder, this will be the last Foto Finish post until July 7, 2012.  I'm putting Foto Finish on hiatus while I travel during the month of June.  I'll be looking for your images when I return . . . and I'll still give you a theme to ponder while I'm gone.

This week's theme is "Gardening".  Here's my entry.

This is one of the rhododendrons that is blooming in our yard right now.  There was a small amount of landscaping when we moved into our home nearly ten years ago.  This rhodie was one of the ones we planted after we arrived.  The rhododendrons always put on such a show in the spring.  They make a bit of a mess when the flowers start to fall off the bushes, and then all the dead blossoms have to be dead-headed eventually.  This makes quite a mess because they have a sticky substance that gets all over everything, and it will positively ruin a pair of gloves.  It's all worth it, however, because I love these beautiful blossoms.

When Foto Finish returns on July 7th, the topic will be (what else?):  Travel

Now I'm ready for your gardening images.  Here's Mr. Linky:

Wow, that's gorgeous. They are one of the prettiest plants ever in my opinion, you're lucky to be able to grow them.
