Month of March to Begin on Schedule

Since I know how worried you all were about the month of March, I'm here to reassure you that you can flip the calendar page up at midnight, as has been widely anticipated.

I shared a few days ago that the short month had me scrambling a bit to finish my incremental goals for February.  Happily, today I can announce that I am all caught up.  All of my success can be attributed to George's attentive snoopervision.  He was my cheerleader.

He was my helper, lending a paw whenever indicated.

And he refused to leave my side until the entire operation was complete.

Thanks to George, I have finished the topstitching on the November block for the Home is Where the Heart Is BOM.  One more block to go!

With that out of the way, I could turn my attention to the March block for the Blogger's BOM.

This month's tutorial was by Amy at Diary of a Quilter.  I love this little block she created.

And I am really loving the way this whole quilt is coming together.  Here are all the blocks I've made so far.

So . . . any time you're worried about being behind schedule and causing a fracture in the space time continuum, George is your cat.  There's a reason he's known as Captain Cat-tastic

The end of February has snuck up on me too. Your blocks all look great. Hope George got a nice treat for being right there with you through thick and thin.

I did notice that George was sticking his tongue out at you! =^..^= Gypsy does that to me too. But she doesn't help me work, she gets mad at me and wants me to stop working and feed her treats and let her sit on my lap!

Great perseverance on finishing the November *Home* block!

Look at George with his little tongue. SO sweet! I can't wait to see your Home is Where the Heart Is all done up. I have seen this one several times, but don't think I would stick to it...LOL...but I really love it! Great job so far!

Ah, kitties. They keep us happy and they make sure we do things just right! LOL Captain Cat-tastic is such a cutie!
I'm making that same block right now! In the Farmer's Wife book it's called Butterfly at the Crossroads... I really like your color choices a lot. Mine is more of a two color job - green and white.

I love the colours you've used!

Does George make housecalls for others who need a helping paw?

Congrats on making it through such a short month, I kept hearing, but it's leap year, you have an extra day, bah. The first picture makes me think George is giving you "raspberries".
