Foto Finish: Through the Window

This week's optional theme is "Through the Window".  Here's my entry:

Gracie has always been a timid little kitty.  She's much happier when everybody stays inside.  When we go outside, she paces anxiously, and looks for all the world like a little old woman wringing her hands in worry.  She likes to sit in the window and look out, however.  Every morning, she spends hours sitting just in this spot.  Birds often land on the bushes outside and she has a cat's eye view of them . . . close up!  That makes her ears go completely flat against her head.  She wouldn't want them to give away her hiding place.

For next week's optional theme let's go with Doors.

Now I'm ready for your images.  Here's Mr. Linky:

Hi Barbara

I have been busy with weddings the last two weekends so haven't had a chance to post lately.

Gracie sounds like a character. But it's good to know that she loves you enough to worry.

Poor Miss Gracie, I can see her pacing and wringing her hands. Just stay inside where it's safe.

There's just something so relaxing about seeing a kitty in the window. Nice shot!

I had such fun with this topic that I was hard-pressed to select only one image. Thanks for hosting and challenging us with your topics.

Thanks for dropping by. Our cat is not allowed outside but has great fun sitting in the window "hunting"!

My cat 'sugar' likes to watch the birds out the kitchen window. I have a suet feeder hanging there.
