Peek-A-Boo

Just the tippy top of Mt. St. Helens was showing as the sun rose this morning.  So pretty.

Mt Hood sits boldly in the beams of sunshine while the blue blanket cuddles her snow fringe; picturesque, for want of a better word.

It's a clear day when we can see the snow-capped Sierra from nearby Nichols Knob-what an amazing vista; I did my formative years in the flat lands of south Florida. Being able to see so far and see actual landmarks entrances me.

it is funny that we follow some blogs and never realize that the writer lives not that far away from you! I am a bit farther north so I can see Mt Rainier from the SE corner of my house. Today as I drove around I saw just the base of Mt Rainier, the rest was in the clouds.

Beautiful photo. I can see the mt. someday's out my upper story window. My mom is in Goldendale and she has a wonderful view of it when it's clear. Thanks for sharing.
