Design Wall Monday: November 14, 2011

This week's design wall didn't change much.  I worked on the center panel of the Checkerboard Flowers quilt all week.  I've finished placing the applique.  Now I need to do the top-stitching, make lots and lots and lots of two-patches, and then assemble the quilt.  I'm hoping to have most of that done to show you next week.  For now, this is where it stands.

While this took almost 100% of my sewing time this week, I did manage to finish the final stitchery for the Sew Happy Sewalong.  The final instructions are in my hot little hands now, and so I'm hoping to spend some time finishing that up soon too.

Also, I spent some time making some little things for the Handmade Gift Exchange (see the button in my right sidebar).  Those are secret for the time being.  I'll share them toward the end of the month.

The flowers grew into a lovely artwork all by themselves. You have put serious time into this project
