Foto Finish: Old

Today's Foto Finish theme is:  Old

Here's my entry:

These are rooftops in the walled Italian city of Montone.  I've always liked these colorful roof tiles.  I visited Italy some years back, and I loved it there.  A social worker friend and I attended a retreat and then toured Italy together once the retreat was over.  Mike wasn't with me, but I'm hoping we'll get a chance to go together some day.  I know he would love Italy.

I'm thinking it's time for another color for next week's Foto Finish theme.  How about:  Orange

With fall colors, that should be an easy one.  Now, here's Mr. Linky:

Love this shot. The textures and color of the tiles are very eye catching. Looks like a great place to visit.

Your themed timed out just perfectly for me today! The rooftops look like they're made with pottery pots! I think orange is a perfect choice, too, by the way! :)

Love the tiles! They would make a great quilt!

Old this one was a little bit hard, but I went for merely old and not ancient which made it easier.

Brings back memories of our trip around Europe 4 years ago.

The colors are complicated, but the complexity makes the whole roof all the more beautiful! I wonder how old the shingles are and how many times they have been replaced over the years...
