The start: My September doll quilt swap. I started on it yesterday. Look at the half square triangle in the middle. Do you see that it is one-inch square?
I'm making 64 of these. I've never worked with anything this small in a quilt, unless it was applique or paper-piecing. They start out at 1 1/4-inch and then they are trimmed down to one inch. I'm trying to be really accurate, but I'm a little worried about how well this is all going to go together.
The finish: The largest stitchery for my "Day in the Life of Mr. Bear" quilt. Isn't this sweet?
This is the largest of the nine stitcheries, so I feel as if I'm off to a good start, er, finish. You know what I mean. These stitcheries are all framed in two borders, and so I think I'll do that as I finish them. For now, I'm working on the doll quilt. And today I'm handing off the "Winter Wonderland" quilt to my quilter, Tammi, so she can work her miracles on it.

I will be waiting patiently for the Winter Wonderland to be quilted. Is Tammi going to custom quilt it?

I love your stitchery, but I will leave those teeny tiny blocks all to you! Generous of me, isn't it?! LOL I just know my limitations, and I think I would tear out the rest of my thinning hair if I tried that! (Grin)
ONE INCH!!!! My goodness, you're taking the SMALL part of this business very seriously! LOL Good luck - I know my fingers would be having a hard time holding on to them. ;^)
