The center panel has the most beautiful "ribbon embroidery." Does anyone know if this technique has a name (other than "ribbon embroidery")? I asked my partner, and she didn't know.
I'm only just getting started on hers, so now I'm going to have to get busy!

I love small quilts, they are fun to make up and great to decorate with. I need to get moving this week and get to finishing and starting some new projects.

Wow! You have an overacheiver partner too!! That is beautiful. I've only heard it called ribbon embroidery too.
I think I may do some snail trail blocks for mine & possibly a little embroidery for the center block....we'll see!
