Kitten's Tale Bound and Finished

I finished the binding on A Kitten's Tale today.  It's completely finished.  Ahhhhhhhhh.

I had to remake one of the yo-yo's that disappeared at some point in time.  In checking them, I realized that seven or eight of them had to be re-sewn to the quilt.  In any case, I started this quilt in January of 2010 as a nine-month BOM.  Clearly, it took a little bit longer than that.  I worked on it while we were traveling last winter.  It has seen a lot of mileage.  It's destined for the wall in our family room.

Now it's time to get working on my "Let Sleeping Cats Lie" quilt, which is the UFO I've assigned myself for September.  September 1st.  Time to get going!  (No rest for the wicked.)

Update:  And this post is perfect to link up to Artists in Blogland.  To see more art forms, including fiber arts, click here.
