Macro Monday

Here's my image for today's Macro Monday:

It's the center of a straw flower.  If you've never seen one, they are such cool flowers.  They open already dried, as if ready for a dried arrangement.  Hence, the name, straw flower.

My younger straw flower is right beside yours at macro Monday! I do love them, they are such amazing flowers.

I have a link on my post to an hourly opening-closing sequence I did if you're interested.

You always take such beautiful photos! I was unaware that they open dried I have seen them in arangments of dried flowers and have thought for all these years that people were drying them. Live and learn.
