My Kitten's Tale quilt came back from the quilter. She did such a great job on the quilting, and I'm very happy with it.
I had hoped to have it bound for Design Wall Monday, but I spent too much time in the kitchen this week. Besides, I wanted to finish my Winter Wonderland quilt. . . .and I did!
These are the two fabrics I'm auditioning for the binding. A blue batik and the same blue polka dots that I used for the inner border. Be sure to vote in the poll I have set up at the top of my left side bar and tell me which one you like best!
Aside from those two projects, I didn't do any other machine sewing. However, I did get a good start on the first stitchery for my newest project, A Day in the Life of Mr. Bear.
I'm happy to say the stem stitch is going a little faster for me now, and I'm making better time with it.
That's it for me this week. For more design walls, visit:

LOVE the pawprints and other details in the Cat Patches quilt. The Winter Wonderland quilt looks WONDERFUL!
The quilting with the paw prints and hearts is perfect for your quilt. Your newest stitchery is coming along beautifully :)
Your Winter Wonderland is beautiful. I voted for the polka dot fabric because it makes me think of snowballs.

All your work is lovely!
Your kitty quilt is spectacular!! The quilting is very nice but your work on it is just outstanding. And the blue winter wonderland is so unique! I've only seen it in red and black. I like the batik fabric best for the binding. I think it needs to be the darker of the two.
Congratulations on these 2 wonderful projects...wow!
oh! The quilting looks tantalizing on Kitten's Tale!
I voted for the polka dots, because I like the symmetry it would create with the inner border.
Beautiful quilts. I really like the quilting shown. The winter quilt is so stunning. Good work!
