Kitten's Tale Blocks Finished!

Well, I don't mean to barrage you with every little brain fart I have.  The yo-yo's just went onto my quilt blocks so much quicker than I expected them to.  They turned out so cute!

It's hard to get a good image of these because they are so long and narrow.  In any case, here are all of the blocks laid out and ready to sew together.

Lots of work in this one . . . and still plenty to do.  It's fun to see all the blocks laid out together.

Now there's the little matter of the quilt I'm free motion quilting right at the moment . . . my Flip Flop quilt.  I don't really want to take the sewing machine all apart from its free motion quilting set-up until it's finished, and so I'll do that before I continue on with this one.  I've had problems with my wrist doing the free motion quilting, and so I had to lay off for a few days.  My wrist is still bothering me.  It's probably a combination of so much hand sewing, free motion quilting, and gardening.  No matter what caused it, I have to take care of it.  I think I can do a little bit today if I wear a splint, and so that's my next mission.

Barb, wrist issues are a bear. My Carpal Tunnel gives me a hard time regularly and forces me to change what I Want to do into what i must do to relieve the pain. Hate it.

Diito Lynda with the wrist thing. My left hand is fixed but not the right so when I quilt I have to "paws" lots to let it rest. I have this same pattern but have only just begun it. Yours looks darling!

I really love it! It looks terrific with all the yo-yo's and embroidery finished. :D Thanks for linking up at BOM's AWAY. I sure hope your wrist calms down VERY soon. That's a real bugger.
