Yesterday I put the finishing touches on my "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" quilt. I still need to make a label for it, but otherwise, it's all finished. It was quilted by my long arm quilter, Tammi. I think she did a beautiful job on it.
This is the back. I found that panel while I was making the quilt. I thought I might use it to make some matching pillowcases, but then ended up using it as a panel on the back. Tammi found a perfectly coordinated variegated thread for the quilting. She said she had purchased it for a different project, but then used it on mine instead. (Lucky me!)
Here is a close-up of the tulips.
Here are the matching pillowcases.
I'm going to use one of these little paper-pieced tulips for the label.
George offered his undying support and devotion through the entire process.
So . . . (dusting off hands), another UFO is history.

Your quilt is so beautiful!! Using a panel piece for the back is a wonderful idea. The quilting is a perfect compliment to all of your wonderful work.
Lovely in every respect. The back, the pillowcases, the quilting... all speak to me on some level. Nice work, Barbara.
Just lovely! Congrats on your finish!!
Congratulations on the finish! It's a beautiful quilt!
