Design Wall Monday--May 2, 2011

I got a lot of odds and ends accomplished this week.  I made the backs for my "Secret Garden" quilt and the baby quilt, which has yet to be named.

I'll start quilting the baby quilt this week.  The "Secret Garden" quilt is going to my long arm quilter, Tammi.  As for my other finishes, I completed all the tulips for the first of my two tulip pillowcases:

Here's the pillowcase:

I still have one more of these to make, which means I need to make nine more tulips.  I realized that I reversed the colors on the tulips from the ones I made for the matching quilt.  I don't suppose it matters.

I still haven't taken any pictures of this quilt since it's been quilted.  It still needs the hand-sewing on the binding, which I hope to finish sometime this week.

I completed two more stars for my "Winter Wonderland" quilt.

And I made this little travel tissue holder for Mae's birthday.

Tonight I'm making dinner for her, and I have some other goodies for her that I think she'll like.

That's is for me this week.  To see other design walls, go to:

Oh I love the tulip quilt and the tulip pillowcases. They are so beautiful. I also love the secret garden quilt and the baby quilt. You've done a fabulous job on them all.

You've been very productive! Love the tulip quilt and pillow case. The black just makes everything pop!

Good job Barbara! You sure did get a lot done this past week.

It took me a while to figure out why you said you reversed the colors on the tulips....but no, I don't think it matters at all. You DID get all the colors in there & they look great!
