What is he sniffing at? Feathers. Enough said. I took his new toy away from him, which is what always happens when he brings things like this into the house. He brought it in as a thoughtful gift. Obviously, we do not appreciate his efforts. It always hurts his feelings.

My Moses always pouts when I am not happy with his gestures. He has not yet figured out (at the ripe old age of 11) that I am not thrilled with chipmunks, birds, etc, nor do I want to see him tossing them around! Sigh. They're so cute when they don't have their "ferocious hunter" attitude on! LOL

My Mom used to have the same problem with one of her cats. It would bring her all manner of critters.
Ahhh, the Mighty Hunter!
Lucky for me, zzyzx only brought me one bird, carefully placed on the mat at the front door. And one lizard tail, as the lizard scampered away....
LOL! And such a thoughtful gift it was :)
