Design Wall Monday--April 25, 2011

I didn't accomplish a whole lot this week, but I did get another block done on my Home is Where the Heart is Block of the month.  Here's the block I finished this week--June.

Here's what the whole quilt will look like when it's finished.

I have the top six blocks done, and the one with the barn.  They were sent to me out of order.  I have the remaining five blocks now, but not the border instructions.  Still a ways to go on this one.

And I got two more of the tulips for my Tulip Fields Forever pillowcases.  I have one in each color now.  I'll need four of each, plus two more per pillowcase.  I'm making two pillowcases.

It seems like the blue and the purple are similar in color.  I think I'll make the two extras from the pink and the yellow.  So I'll need five each of the pink and yellow, and four each of the blue and purple.  I've been doing one each time I sew, but I missed the last three days.  Still working on it.

Such cute blocks. I love the barn, no wonder you did it already.

I really like your applique quilt, I've never seen it before. They can be fun to do and addicting.
