I visited two more quilt shops this week and purchased more fabric. Five yards is to be used as the backing for my Winter Wonderland quilt, and so it will be in and out by the end of the year. I haven't noticed an increase in prices yet, and so I figure I'm buying fabric for the "bank" as much as anything. It's almost as if everything I'm buying is on sale! Yeah! On sale! Who could blame me?
Fabric used this week: 1/2 yard
Total fabric used to date: 7 yards
Fabric purchased this week: 6 1/2 yards
Fabric purchased year to date: 67 1/2 yards
Net purchased this year: 60 1/2 yards
We're on our way home now. We should be there in about three weeks. I'm looking forward to organizing all my new fabrics and getting on with making some new quilts!

I see a STASH growing! LOL
You'll still have 3/4 of the year left to get back into the black on your fabric usage, so you should enjoy your stash building opportunities.
And hopefully when you get home it will be nice and warm.
Looking forward to seeing all the quilts you make!
Sales rock! I am with you on the buying before the prices go up.
So if the fabric is half price does that mean you can count half the yardage? LOL - Enjoy your trip back home!
a jack problem. I took our 5th wheel to the dealer this fall and as we unhooked--jack wouldn't work. Glad it happened there--they had all the necessary stuff to unhook. DH will work on tractors, combines, farm equipment--but camper fixin's are left to the dealer!
