In keeping with the "in like a lion, out like a lamb" theme, I chose "Weather" for this week's Foto Finish. Here's my entry:
This image was taken in Bryce Canyon a few years back when we visited. I'm a little disappointed that the storm in the distance doesn't show up. I really needed a split neutral density filter to keep from blowing out the clouds, but I didn't have one at the time. I had hoped to get some pictures of the weather in Albuquerque that blew through a couple of days ago, but I didn't see an image that would work. Still, the puffy white clouds that filled the sky that day were beautiful to the human eye, even if the camera couldn't capture them.
Now I'd like to see the weather you're experiencing. As for next week's theme, I learned today that we go back on Daylight Savings Time this Sunday. Yahoo! Can Spring be far behind? With that in mind, I'm making next week's theme:
"Spring"
Now here's Mr. Linky:

My image is of a tree that has been affected by the weather.
I like both photos! the storm and the bent tree. Mine is about what the tide does...
I like that canyon, it almost makes me want to take wing and fly over it (almost)!
(Irina, your link comes back to this page.)

Storms are so impressive. I like how the canyon wall leads you back to the clouds. Great shot.
sorry!!! wasn't using my computer and got mixed up with copying and pasting...
I love west pics!
Such a moody shot, I can almost feel the storm approaching....
That is so beautiful!! It's just breathtaking. I don't take many "weather" photos, but I'd love to capture some beautiful clouds or something!!
I did post a weather photo. It's some icy leaves!!
And now I've finally found the pic I was searching for - the aftermath of an ice storm in Missouri a few years ago.
