Ick! I wonder how you'll interpret today's theme of "Creepy Crawly." I had a lot of contenders, but I finally settled on this guy:
I don't know what he is . . . maybe you do. I found him on a bean blossom in my vegetable garden. He kind of looks like a ladybug with the spots on his back, but I imagine he's some kind of bad beetle. He probably went to work eating something after I left.
So what did you come up with? Last week we had a whole TWO participants. It's a beginning, right? I'll just keep hanging in, hoping more people show up to post their images. For now, here's Mr. Linky. I'd love to see your creepy crawlies.
Next week's theme is: (What else?) Food
For those of you from other parts of the world, we Americans are celebrating Thanksgiving. It's a day when we do what we do best: Eat!

As mentioned in my blog this photo was taken earlier this year when a group of us from Women In Action Taranaki travelled about an hour and a half north of our home city to visit a conservation reserve for these creaures. Although they look quite ugly and primitive they are harmless. Checkout another post I made today. I led a WIA trip today to do damdropping. I could only get 5 other members to come with me today bu we had an awesome time.
I had been so happy to see such a small bug and then I went and checked out Maree's photo... YIKES!
Hi Barbara! I think your beetle is a Spotted Cucumber Beetle. That's a great photo of it! And OMG, when I went and looked at Maree's photo I almost passed out. There is no way that I would let one of those things crawl on my face!!!
BTW, I would join you but I can't take a decent photo to save my life. I do enjoy the ones you all post, though!
XOXO,
Cyndi
I'd like to join in on your 'Foto Finish'. I'm not sure how good my pictures will be and I may need a reminder but I'll give it a shot. (no pun intended!:)

PS: No way would I let any bug crawl on my neck or face on purpose!
I would take part in your photo finish, but I don't have a blog. Would you accept flickr links?
I left my link to flickr.
