Good morning! Smitty here! I'm just here to tell you that it's a great time to be a cat, despite the nasty rumors going around about our murderous impulses.
As I said in my earlier post, I wouldn't think of harming a bird, and just to prove it, I always keep an invisible shield between myself and them. Sometimes a guy gets the blood lust, but I've learned to control myself.
Why, just this morning, I was thinking what a nice guy I am while I watched them hippy hopping around outside the window. It was tempting, but I told myself, "No! Resist the Force".
Even when they ran over here, I kept up my invisible shield.
And I think my efforts to control my terrifyingly tempestuous temperament have paid off. Have you heard the news? It seems Hasbro has decided to add a cat as its new Monopoly token!
I'm thinking they must have seen my picture on the internets. It's a pretty good likeness of my, don't you think?
But that's not all. Even the coffee baristas are getting into the cult of cat canonizers. Take a look at this:
Yes, I don't think there's ever been a better time for a cat to be alive. For now though, I think I need to rest up.
I have be a busy day ahead attending to the needs of my adoring public. The little furry people need me.

Glad to see Smitty is enjoying his day, we are getting a storm, so all prepared and waiting for it to hit tomorrow. Glad to see the kitty made it, but sad to see the iron go.

Well Smitty, you look so comfy that I wish I could just cuddle up with you under that pretty quilt. So glad they made your likeness into a monopoly piece. My cousin and I played that game endless hours during my childhood. My brother who was older would come in from plowing or mowing and play banker for awhile. He always slipped me $ under the table.
Smitty is too funny! Now I'm going to have to buy a new Monopoly board... good call on getting rid of the iron for a kitty cat.

Ahh, Smitty, wonderful post. You are indeed a busy guy, as I am. My human says that you are very handsome, too, but I know that would sound downright weird coming from me. I'm glad that the Monopoly folks have finally evened up the score....I've gotten tired of that scotty dog galloping around the board with no kitty to chase him. Now we are honored as we should be -- my human said she wanted that coffee, too! Haha! Cats rule, my friend! Zzzzzzz....

Purrr Smitty purfect reading. I agree it is a purfect time to be a cat. The dog has just had his fur trimmed so now I'm bigger than him and I can chase him and boss him around. I caught a couple of mousies outside but Lyndsey didn't tell me off because I didn't take them indoors and to top it all there is some tuna for dinner (my favourite) Until your next post have a purfect time.

My cat loves Smitty but refuses to ride to Oregon with me to visit. I cannot travel without CatCat as navigator so we content ourselves with Smitty's virtual image and exploits.
