Before I start, I want to encourage anyone reading to participate. I've discovered recently that you don't have to be a blogger to link up with Mr. Linky. You can link to internet image-sharing sites as well. I'm excited about this because it opens up participation to virtually everyone. Even if you don't have a formal image-sharing site set up, you can still upload one or more images to Webshots or Flickr or Shutterfly (for example), and then post the link below. If you are linking to something other than a blog, please leave a comment telling us about your image. Also, please link to just one image and not a whole album of pictures.
With that said, this week's Foto Finish theme is "Snow." Here's my entry:
This is the view from our living room window. On a clear day, we see three mountains: Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. I had in mind originally, to post a picture of Mt. Adams, but I wasn't able to find it. And now the weather won't cooperate so that I can take another. So I settled on this one. With the holidays approaching, it's one of my favorite "Christmas card" images of our home.
Now I'd like to see how you interpreted this week's theme. Did you think of the cold stuff that falls from the sky? Or did you think of something else--like confetti. If you live in a warm climate, be imaginative!
Next week's Foto Finish theme will be: "Trees"
Now here's Mr. Linky:

OK, I'm completely jealous. What a beautiful view from your dining room window! A "Christmas card image" it most certainly is.
That view of the mountains is just beautiful!! I already had a post up about snow so was already for this theme!!!!!
Hi Barbara
Sorry I'm so late with this post. I have been away for part of weekend and now cannot find this photo on my computer but thought I would have a try at posting straight from my FlickR account.
We are really blessed to have this beautiful mountain (Mount Taranaki)on our backdoor. We also live on the coast so for those who are so inclined they can ski and surf in the same day. There is very little snow left on the mountain now as we are well into a drought a the beginning of our summer.
I haven't been able to find the photo I want to show yet, but I'll look again after work today...
Yours is gorgeous - I would have a hard time getting anything done with a view like that outside my window!
I found it! Had to upload it to Flickr, but this one still makes me smile.... :^)
