Do you baste with needle and thread or pins?? I pinned one only quilt yesterday, and my back certainly told me all about it when I had finished! I have my stack (six of 'em) waiting for the same treatment. I set up my tables, got the first one started, then had a minor flood in the kitchen which turned out to be a broken water line in the wall. One end of my kitchen is gutted :-( Needless to say, all quilt work is on pause until I get things organized. The insult added to injury? Best guesstimate is the work won't begin for another six weeks! Oh, well...<br />Cathy Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16151435698277555521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5045426307379086704.post-66300770236505688942021-10-27T09:05:25.054-07:002021-10-27T09:05:25.054-07:00I feel as if I just walked thru an awesome quilt s...I feel as if I just walked thru an awesome quilt show. Your quilts are stunning and I love the backing you shared. I've been impressed for a long time how your approach your sandwiching. Congratulations on getting 6 tops sandwiched and ready for quilting. They are all brilliant! And, for my morning ROFL - I initially thought you had made a bunch of sandwiches for Mike and thought you were sending him off on a big project day, of a different nature.Darlene Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10433442235806365605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5045426307379086704.post-36604680868189623122021-10-27T08:41:00.602-07:002021-10-27T08:41:00.602-07:00You're setting yourself up for some lovely win...You're setting yourself up for some lovely winter quilting.
