If it wasn't for the fact that it was more ceramic than glass looking, I'd be writing YOUR name down! (the last thing I broke it the kitchen was glass, so I don't know where that thing came from.) I barely managed to not drip blood all over the house hopping to the bedroom - best lighting - & then the bathroom for tweezers & back to the bedroom. Ugh. So yes, I definitely feel your pain on that incident. Not to mention the loss of the adult beverages.<br />The Snow Ladies quilt pile looks awesome! I broke something glass recently enough to know how Not Funny it is, and I also said Fudge and Fooey more than once so I completely understand those F words flying. I always use paper towels and throw them away. Remember that for next time. I do hope you managed to get all the glass....I always seem to find glass bits months after an actual "incident". And I was NOT laughing so don't come looking for me missy, but I was thinking "thank God it wasn't a dozen eggs" as those are the pits to clean up. If you took Kristine's advise and used bread to pick up the pieces you'd probably need a loaf, just sayn'. I only wish we had a quilt shop like Drain, OR (love the name) but our tiny town can barely support the auto parts store, not Napa but we don't complain.Dogwood Lane Rambleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11325307035803155779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5045426307379086704.post-1503752185297832012015-02-24T13:36:59.078-08:002015-02-24T13:36:59.078-08:00A tip I saw was to use a piece of bread to get the...A tip I saw was to use a piece of bread to get the tiny pieces. At least you don't have a canine vacuum cleaner who always zooms in to help. Then it's like cleaning while doing aerobics to keep her out of danger... It's funny, because when we're kids and spill something or break a glass, you think that as an adult you won't ever do that again.... Just like getting pimples... Wish someone had warned me that they don't just suddenly stop when you turn 20! LOLJunebug613https://www.blogger.com/profile/10214030994830504055noreply@blogger.com
